Bosnia and Herzegovina: Village of the Forgotten Widows

For three years the people of Bosnia were devastated by the horrors of war. They lived through attacks, rape and ethnic cleansing. Throughout all of this, the world looked on and did nothing, leaving both soldiers and civilians terrorized and defenseless. One of the most disgraceful examples of this occurred in Srebrenica, on the 11th of July 1995.

This documentary will shine a light on the lives of the Srebrenica widows, and will highlight their day to day struggles the rest of us have been overlooking for years. They were forgotten then, and remain forgotten. These individuals deserve peace.
